Water

How much water do you drink every day? If you are not drinking at least 6 to 8 eight ounce glasses, you are probably dehydrated. One way to figure out how much water you need is to take your bodyweight and divide it in half. That is the number of ounces of water you need to drink every day. If you have a drink containing caffeine in it, you must drink an extra glass of water to make up for the caffeine, which is a diuretic.

Doctor F. Batmanghelidj, M.D., who wrote the book "Your body's many Cries for Water" believes that people are chronically dehydrated and it is dehydration which is at the root of many of our medical problems: asthma, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, arthritis, etc. Have a read of his site http://www.watercure.com and see what you think. Either way, start drinking water now. Additional info can be found at http://www.watercure2.com and http://www.eatright.org/cps/rde/xchg/ada/hs.xsl/media_3173_ENU_HTML.htm
