Planet Fever

Our world is getting warmer

Introduction: Since the Industrial Revolution we have raised the concentration of CO2 in the atmosphere from 280 parts per million to 380 parts per million. This has caused planet Earth to warm up by about one degree Fahrenheit. How this will effect our planet is uncertain. Our addressing this issue together, must be a top priority.

What can we do about it?

  • Drive your fuel efficient car less
  • Install compact fluorescent light bulbs and save money
  • Insulate your hot water heater with a fiberglass blanket
  • Install an attic exhaust fan
  • Install solar powered decorative lighting
  • Conserve heat and use less air conditioning
  • Urge government to invest in renewable solar and wind energy
  • What else??
  • Solar Farms
  • Low cost Power consumption meters can be used to monitor your electricity usage.
