  • hitoe iriminage
    • stepping in to outside of uke's arm - touch shoulders, keep your arm in front of your center, turn your hips, turn your rear foot at end and push off moving your center forward - if you don't do this you are just using your upper body.
    • stepping back tenshin and letting uke come to you

  • ikkyo to sankyo to makiotoshi

  • hajiki goshi - ikkyo start, grab uke's other hand with your free hand, step fwd with inside leg (placing your hip against uke's hip/inner thigh), throw using both hands

  • ikkyo
    • ura - be sure to bring uke's elbow straight down, don't let it cross over "the line of attack"

  • Sumi otoshi - uke grabs your rt hand. Step in deep to the outside with your rt foot. Place your left foot beside uke's left foot; you are now in hanmi facing uke at 90 degrees to your original position. Kneel down on your rt knee, keeping your rt hand in front of you and throw uke. The power comes from dropping your knee. (you can also drop your knee and extend your right arm downwards at the same time).

  • Uki otoshi - uke grabs your rt hand. Step to your left side with your left foot and raise your rt hand. Bring uke's weight forward by leading him in his original direction with your rt hand. Turn 90 degrees to your right and drop your left knee. Push on uke's hip with your left hand and lead him down with your rt hand. Make sure your rt knee is not in front of uke; your rt foot should be in front of uke's foot and your rt knee will be to the side.

  • Kiri otoshi - Step back and lead uke forward, cutting down on his elbow at the end (arms up, turn, arms down). When you step back, make sure your foot crosses far enough over the center line so that when you pivot, you end up with your feet shoulder width apart (you don't want your legs crossed or in a straight line so you lose your balance) and hips square. This is the throwing "finishing" position as opposed to normal hanmi with hips at a 45 degree angle.

  • Maki otoshi - step back, irimi with fwd foot (if necessary to get close to uke) and tenkan on your fwd foot. Keep uke's arm up, close and tight.

  • garuma kotegaeshi ?(or nikkyo?) - nage in left hanmi; step back with left foot and grab uke's wrist with your rt hand as if doing shihonage. Put your left hand over uke's forearm and grab your own rt wrist. Now you can either tenkan on your rt foot or just pivot to your left, dropping down on your rt knee. Keep the armlock on and walk uke over on your knees.

  • katatetori saoeotoshi - from left hanmi, step back with left foot and grab uke's arm with your rt hand as if doing shihonage. Now grab uke's rt wrist with your left hand (switch) and pass under uke's arm, stepping with your left foot. Grab uke's rt shoulder with your rt hand. Now lift uke's shoulder up, put your right leg in front of uke's rt leg and drop down on your right knee, bringing uke down with you.

  • hiza tate (dropping from standing to knees)

    • katatetori shihonage
      • omote - rt hand held, irimi in front of uke, extending your rt arm in front of you. Turn 180 degrees to your left, grabbing uke's left arm. Kneel down on your rt knee. Now turn 90 degrees to your rt, dropping your left knee and throwing uke at 90 degrees from his original direction
      • ura - rt hand held, tenkan and lower your rt knee to the mat. Turn 90 degrees to your rt and lower your left knee to the mat, throwing uke shihonage

    • katatetori taiotoshi
      • omote: rt hand grabbed, extend your rt arm and slide fwd and to your rt with your rt foot, grab uke's left elbow with your left hand, both your arms are extended, drop to your knees, toes live and keep extending uke's arm outward.
      • ura: rt hand grabbed. Step back with your rt leg, do a half tenkan on your left foot and end up with your feet together facing the same direction as uke. Grab uke's left elbow with your left hand and extend uke's arm outward. Drop to your knees and extend uke, throwing him.

  • uchi kaiten kokyunage

  • soto kaiten kokyunage

  • hizatate kokyunage

  • surinuke soto makiotoshi

  • surinuke hajiki goshi

  • kaiten nage uchi
    • omote
    • ura - once you pass under uke's arm, do U shaped step with near foot and then tenkan on that foot, throwing uke kaiten nage

  • surinuke almost yonkyo / sankyo walkback - from left hanmi, do surinuke motion with your left hand. Grab uke's right wrist with your left hand and extend his arm into his face (this is the part similar to yonkyo). Step in front of uke with your right foot and atemi to his face with your right hand. Tenkan on your right foot and place your right hand on uke's right elbow. Step back with his arm (almost like sankyo). Finish with standing pin, with your right forearm against your right knee; your right hand is pushing on uke's elbow.

  • Katate tori tenkan shiho sabaki iriminage - don't throw against uke's power. Raise his bent arm with your rt shoulder and bring your rt arm up to take his balance. Then it is like you are throwing a ball with your right hand/arm; you are throwing over him.

  • hajiki goshi - from left hanmi, step back with left foot and grab uke's right writst with your left hand. Grab uke's right sleeve with your right hand, with your thumb up. Pass under uke's arm, pivot and throw hajiki goshi
