I worked with Barbara at MK Laboratories in 1982 and 1983. God put her in my life at that specific time. We became life long friends. God called her home way too soon.

If you would like to post a message or picture of Barbara, please email me at aikidave AT gmail DOT com This is the only picture I have of her - telling her dog, Tiffy, to sit!

Barbara was one of my best friends who I truly missed. We had a great time going to craft shows, church events, the movies, shopping, out to eat. She was full of joy and wrote beautiful poetry. she blessed me in so many ways and I know we will see each other again one day in heaven. Love you Barb!

Barbara was a very special friend to me for many years. My loveliest memory of her was our times spent in Newport, RI in the summer months back in the 1980s and 1990s. She loved to go to the galleries, be by the ocean, etc. Everything in life was so wondrous to her. I will always appreciate her love and care of me and my family, especially during some very hard times.

May dear Barbara be at peace now. She had an amazing faith.

One of my fondest memories of Barb is walking with her...as we walked and talked she noticed every thing around us and only saw the beauty. Her love of nature, music and poetry touched all who knew her. We were in the same creative witing class, so I was fortunate to have read and heard many of her creative pieces. Knowing that she is now at peace and pain free is a gift to all who knew her. God Bless Barb, her family and friends.

My heart goes out to the Kristie family at this tragic time. Even though we have lost touch over the years, the memories of what we all shared with Barb are all a part of us now and forever. Let us honor her amazing spirit by keeping the child alive within us as we all move forward, as she did in life. She touched us all with her gentle spirit and she lives on in each of us. Words cannot express feelings enough at times like this, but I know we all know she is now free at last.

Barb was the sweetest person I've ever met. What a kind heart - she was really unique.

Barb was a substitute teacher at East Shore Day Care Center for many years. I loved working with her! She was a kind, loving person and the children always loved seeing her. She always saw the best in everyone & everything. I will miss her.

I will always remember Barb for her kind soul and generous heart. Her smile could always bring one to your own face. Free spirited and full of light.
